- How do I subscribe to the StageSoc mailing list?
- The StageSoc mailing list (like most SUSU societies) use the university's e-mail list system, which uses a system called MajorDomo. In order to subscribe to the mailing list then, simply send an e-mail to majordomo@lists.soton.ac.uk with no subject and the message of the body reading subscribe susu-stagesoc. You should send this e-mail from the account that you wish to receive the e-mails from the mailing list. If you have problems, contact the webmaster via the forum or e-mail webmaster@stagesoc.org.uk instead and we'll add you manually.

How do I unsubscribe from the mailing list?
The process to unsubscribe is very similar to that of subscribing. Simply send an e-mail to majordomo@lists.soton.ac.uk with no subject and the message of the body reading unsubscribe susu-stagesoc from the account that is currently registered on to the mailing list. If you have problems, contact Thork on the forum or e-mail stagesoc@soton.ac.uk instead and we'll add you manually.

I can't send an e-mail to the mailing list, what's wrong?
Only people who are subscribed to the mailing list can send messages to it. If you haven't subscribed to the mailing list then you will have to do that first. If you are still having trouble, make sure you are sending the e-mail from the same account as that that receives mailing list e-mails. For instance, if you use your University e-mail address to receive the mailing list e-mails, you cannot use your GMail or Hotmail account to send them, you must still use your University e-mail address.

I'm receiving mailing list e-mails more than once. Why?
This is probably our fault - we may have accidentally put your e-mail address on the list twice. If you have this problem, contact the webmaster via the forum or e-mail webmaster@stagesoc.org.uk instead and we'll sort it out for you.
