Biography
Sam is a fourth year undergrad physics student and can normally be found in the Annex, the ents office at the union or somewhere between lectures!
Ever since he was thrown into the deep end on a show in his first year of secondary school, Sam has found a passion for working on shows. Although he works for the ents department in the union's club and live gigs he finds a buzz when working as part of a bigger project with a large team that you get from shows. Sam started in the theatre as a lighting designer and rigger. He then moved onto sound, again both designing and rigging, and then finally stage management. Having done most of his work at school or college he has also worked with several local groups, charities and worked as an in house technician at a small theatre for several months!
Since moving to Southampton he has been involved in countless productions with StageSoc and this year was lucky enough to be elected as president. Sam spends his free time on the water sailing, playing pool in a pub or rock climbing. Some of Sam's more memorable productions include:
