How can I look through the glossary?
You have two choices when looking through the glossary. If you are not looking for anything specific, the you can browse through by clicking a category name on the glossary main page. This will take you to a page listing the definitions for all the items in that category. You can return to the list of categories by using the link at the bottom of the list.
Alternatively, if you are searching for a specific term, you can use the Search box on the main glossary page. Enter a term into the box provided and click Search. This will search both glossary entry names and descriptions for the phrase entered. To narrow down the search, you can select a category from the dropdown list.

How do I add a definition to the glossary?
Only committee members and moderators can add items to the glossary, so if you want to add a definition but are not permitted to, then suggest it to the webmaster or a committee member.
For permitted members, glossary items can be added from the Glossary Administration panel which is accessible from the link at the bottom of the main glossary page. From the administration panel, choose a category to put the new entry in, and enter it's details in the form in the Add Entry section that appears at the bottom of the page. Note that item descriptions can contain HTML tags for formatting and linking to other pages. As such, the use of certain characters (<, >, ", ', £ amongst others) may cause issues. How do I edit a definition in the glossary?
Only committee members and moderators can edit items in the glossary, so if you spot a mistake, then contact the webmaster or a committee member to have it updated.
For permitted members, glossary items can be edited from the Glossary Administration panel which is accessible from the link at the bottom of the main glossary page. From the administration panel, choose the category that contains the entry to be edited and then from the list that appears, choose the Edit link that appears next to the item you wish to edit.
Permitted members can also move glossary definitions from this area. To move one or more glossary items, click on the checkbox that appears on the left of the items that you wish to move, and then from the dropdown list at the bottom of the definition list choose Move to followed by the category you wish to move the items to. Clicking Go will then move the items.
