This is where you'll find all the upcoming dates for training sessions, including Health & Safety and any professional development opportunities for our members.
For Freshers: youâre free to attend as many or as few sessions as youâd like. The only requirement is completing Health & Safety trainingâother than that, there are no minimum commitments or qualifications needed to get involved in shows. Most of the skills we develop as stage technicians come from hands-on experience, so donât worry if itâs your first time behind the scenes. If youâre interested in stepping up as a Head of Department (HOD) for the first time, youâll be paired with experienced members to guide you through the process.
Our training sessions are designed to give you the chance to try out any backstage tech skills you're curious about, with access to all of our equipment. Whether you want to experiment at your own pace or get expert guidance from our Training Mentors, thereâs something for everyone:
