Intelligent lights are used so we can utilise a wider variety of effects. StageSoc does not own any intelligent lights (unless you count the LED pars), instead we hire them from SUSU (or occasinally other places) for the duration of a show.

These are moving heads with RGBW LED cells in them. This allows you to control the pan, tilt, zoom and RGBW dimmers as well as the master dimmer. They have a far greater reach than traditional lights and since they have LED lights, the colours are more vibrant compared to using gels. for more info on Mini-Bs, click here
