All power tools are stored on the shelves in Upper Store.
StageSoc has a Makita 18V cordless drill and impact driver set, in a green Makita plastic case. There is one battery charging station and two 4Ah batteries, on the shelf in Small Store. These were bought in 2021.
These are very good tools which are powerful and robust (ish - the drill is named “Sparky” because it was returned to Makita under warranty twice).
This is a much older model of 18v cordless Makita drill. We have only one battery for it, which is a different size from the newer Makita batteries. This and the charger are stored on the shelf in Small Store. The drill is stored in a black fabric Makita case.
This drill is less powerful but still perfectly sufficient for smaller jobs and screwdriving.
Our newest drill is a Makita 18V brushless drill, it uses the same battery as sparky and the impact driver. It is stored in the plastic Makita case with Sparky and the Impact driver.
This is a fairly old 20V cordless drill. We have about 4 batteries and one charger, all on the shelf in Small Store. It is stored in a black hard plastic JCB case.
This drill is less powerful but still perfectly sufficient for smaller jobs and screwdriving.
We have a Bosch (green, not the professional range) corded jigsaw. It is kept in a green hard plastic Bosch case. Blades are kept in a small grey and yellow plastic Ryobi case in the Sharps drawer of George (the red tool cabinet in Upper Store).
We have an Evolution non-sliding Mitre saw, stored loose on the power tool shelves.
We have a Makita corded Circular saw, stored loose on the power tool shelves. Compatible guide squares are kept in the top compartment of George (the red tool cabinet in Upper Store).
